Since I was a kid, I have loved baking shows. I have admired the way bakers and pastry chefs can combine flavors, colors, and textures to make something extraordinary. I firmly believe that a good pastry or sweet treat can turn the most horrible day into a happy one. If I were brave enough, I would be a professional baker. But since I am not, I have limited myself to baking at home. I have baked a variety of desserts, but my absolute favorite was the Apple Pie. Someday, hopefully soon, I will open a small cake business and hope that my Bachelor of Science and all the knowledge I absorbed through baking classes help me make it successful.
