Two individual exercises for the DBW subject from the Master's degree, covering web application development and database design.
A web application to perform multiple sequence alignment making use of the external server of Clustal-Omega. Supports FASTA sequences, UniProt IDs, PDB IDs and file upload. Includes format validation, output formatting and result download.
Try AppData model design for a hospital clinical trials support service. Covers pseudonymised study participants, longitudinal clinical data, user roles and a flexible variable-based schema for multi-trial use.
A Web Application designed to identify cell populations from gene expression profiles: Given a list of gene symbols, it cross-references them against thousands of gene-cell relationships from CellMarker and PanglaoDB. As output, each candidate cell type receives a cumulative weighted score and those results are ranked as probability percentages. Moreover, every query is logged per user, building a personal prediction history over time.
This project was carried out by "DINP" (Diego, Itxaso, Nahia and Pau).
A standalone program based on both geometric and machine learning algorithms that analyses the 3D structure of an inputed protein through its PDB file and predicts its potential ligand binding sites.
