Who I Am
I am a biotechnologist trained at Universitat de Lleida, with hands-on experience in molecular biology and microbiology.
Currently pursuing my Master's at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat de Barcelona in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences. My professional curiosity lies at the intersection of structural biology and physics.
Curiosity is my default setting. I spend a lot of my time diving into the world of informatics, but I'm just as happy getting lost in a foreign city or obsessing over a chess match.
What I listen to?
Music is my ultimate battery pack. My playlists are basically a digital manifestation of ADHD: one minute I’m coding to high-velocity techno, the next I’m running up a trail fueled by a Disney power ballad, and I finish the day with classical piano to stop my brain from vibrating. It’s chaotic, it’s inconsistent, and no, I will not be taking questions on why The Little Mermaid follows a hardcore breakdown :)
Hardcore (⊙_◎)
High-energy, unfiltered, relentless. Perfect for long trail climbs.
Techno (╯°□°)╯
Deep, hypnotic, repetitive. Gets me into a flow state when coding.
Classical ( ̄▽ ̄)
From Bach to Debussy — when I need to think clearly and deeply.
Chill (っ◕‿◕)っ
Soft, melancholic, atmospheric. Sunsets and long walks kind of music.
Disney (๑>ᴗ<๑)
No apologies. The classics hit different and you know it.

Resume
Education
MSc in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences
Universitat Pompeu Fabra & Universitat de Barcelona
Driven by a deep interest in structural biology, specially in molecular modeling, ligand docking and dynamic simulations to elucidate the precise protein-substrate interactions that underpin biocatalytic efficiency and to decode the complex protein-protein interactions associated with human disease pathology.
BSc in Biotechnology
Universitat de Lleida
Specialized in Pharmaceutical biotechnology, Biomedical biotechnology (highest honors), Molecular pathology and biomedical diagnostics and Applications of multivariate analysis in biotechnology.
Experience
Undergraduate Research Fellow
IRB Lleida & Agrotecnio
During my internship, I spearheaded a metabolic engineering project focused on the directed evolution of bacterial strains to synthesize high-value pharmaceutical precursors. I executed an integrated workflow that bridged "wet-lab" experimentation with advanced computational analytics, performing comparative genomic analysis against bacterial homologs to identify conserved functional domains for targeted mutation. By utilizing Python for automated data handling and structural biology tools to model the molecular impact of these variants, I characterized metabolic shifts with the hypothesized application of enhancing the biodegradation of environmental pollutants. This research demonstrated a scalable approach to sustainable biomanufacturing while providing a structural basis for future bioremediation studies.
