Bioinformatician with roots in biotechnology and the soul of a musician.
My scientific career began with a toy microscope and a rigorous clinical analysis of gummy candies classified by color, shape, and flavor. From that candy lab, I moved on to circuits with Scratch and robotics, discovering that logic was my favorite language. Today, I've traded the microscope for high-performance computing. As a Biotechnology graduate and Master's student in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences, I dedicate my days to finding patterns, no longer in candy, but in genomic data that can improve people's health.
I've been a professional musician for as long as I can remember—conservatory, school, rehearsals, and exams all at once, with no room for boredom. I quickly learned to live with a packed schedule and to find rhythm in the chaos. Although it wasn't easy, I wouldn't change it for anything.
